Purchased in 2019, this exciting project required a total renovation and kitchen extension with a sizeable landscaping project. The previous owners had been there for over 50 years, and the property had become very run down and had accumulated 50 years of horded rubbish. It took 25 shipping containers to clear the site, we stripped back the cottage to a shell. Our land acquisitions team saw the vast potential in bringing the gorgeous 200-year-old cottage back to its original character with a classy modern style.

Lapora wanted to unravel the original features of this property whilst adding a high-end contemporary twist to the house. No expense spared, in adding touches to the character cottage.

Lapora refurbished it all to the highest premium finish. The property extended with new kitchen to create a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room and utility room, integrated with a Small Bone kitchen and Smart Lightwave lighting system. Additionally, with the latest Smart central heating system all controlled by an innovative Nest service.  The house proudly sits now in just under 1 acre of land, with the house back to its former glory, in fact better.
