At the front end we have land acquisition directors, back end planning developers, and architects/designers that form the core of our business. Ensuring our projects are developed to the highest possible standards.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Philip Cole, Lapora Ltd is a private family office. We operate as an opportunity fund investing across multiple property sectors, targeting low risk and high returns for our investors.

Luke Cole

In 2014, Luke Founded Surrey Estates, an on-line hybrid Estate Agency. Armed with a sales team that reached far across Surrey, building an enviable reputation for providing unparalleled customer service that held clients hands through the confusing UK house sales process with the internet as a key component. Luke, felt the market was ready for a new approach to Estate Agency. A hybrid approach that blended both traditional values of a genuinely personal service together with being a niche, online service that has lower overheads and bigger scale.

With a strong team behind him, the company took Surrey by storm, proudly winning the award for Surrey’s Best Estate Agency 2016 & 2017. In 2018 Luke Cole was also the proud recipient of the personal accolade of Best Property Professional 2018 at the Surrey Property Awards. Luke, is specialising in land and property acquisition taking full advantage of the knowledge he has gained whilst running Surrey Estates over the last 4 years. His focus is to build award winning properties that meet customer’s needs, Better Places for People. In March 2019 Luke handed the reigns of leading Surrey Estates over to the new Managing Director who continues to build on the model and the successful brand he built.

Philip Cole

In 2000, Philip Co-Founded Wireless Logic, an IoT and M2M service provider. The company specialised in a commercial software platform that enabled partners with a business platform, to manage 8,500,000 SIM cards and software subscribers across Europe. Communication connectivity with Vodafone, EE, Orange & O2 and 100’s of other mobile phone networks, enabled applications such as the tracking and communication of vehicles, smart meters, burglar alarms, home CCTV, machines, vending and car park machines and chip and pin payment machines. In 2018, he secured his fourth and subsequently final exit of the company, valuing Wireless Logic at over $500 million via a leveraged buyout backed by Montagu Private Equity. Philip, still remains a shareholder but is not involved in the day to day operations of the business anymore.

His ambition has always been to build a £1,000,000,000 company which they have achieved in June 2021. Wireless Logic, has been regularly featured in a number of leading business league tables including: The Sunday Times Tech Track 100, The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, The Sunday Times Profit Track 100 and The Sunday Times Buyout 100. In late 2016, the group was recognised in the megabuyte50 top performing, mid-market independent technology organisations in the UK and number 1 for most consistent financial achiever.

Having fully retired from Wireless Logic in 2019 at 47, Philip wanted to invest his time into building an innovative property brand and business, thus creating Lapora to develop and deliver end customers with innovative property, the ‘Smart Home’ of the future. His goal is to build a large revenue business over the next five years. “The developments we build will be far more considerate than typical developments and considerate to the homeowners modern day needs.” Cole says, that is the vision I and the excellent team will build upon.

Andrea Cole

Andrea Cole, wife of Phil, spent many years in the health care sector and gave up work to bring up their children.

As the children have grown Andrea has decided to take a more active role in supporting the family business and runs the Operations and HR departments. Her accolades include House Wife of the Year 2016 and best Lasagne 2018!
